How would Wukong and Macaque feel if they heard a conversation between Reader and Spirit or some monkey trying to confort her and reader said:

"if they really loved me they wouldn't hurt me like this."

Macaque: *Would freeze*

Wukong: But- we just want to keep her safe, we're not hurting her.

Macaque: You know that's not true just as much as I do.

Funny enough. This IS a conversation that I had in mind and is likely to happen in the fic. It's part of what give the duo an idea for a gift they later give to Reader~

They were going to give it to her either way, this just pushed them to make sure she got it the year that she did. Hehe~

constantly coming to terms with the fact i invented my favorite character ever. what do i do about this

One of my favourite questions for figuring out a character’s motivations is which qualities they most fear being assigned to them. Are they afraid (consciously or unconsciously) of being seen as stupid? Ungrateful? Weak? Incompetent? Lazy? Cowardly? Intimidating? Like they actually care? etc.

It’s such a fun way to explore into who they are, why they do what they do, what they don’t do out of fear, and how they might be affected by the events of the story. And I love when characters have negative motivations—trying to avoid something (in this case, being seen a particular way) as much as they’re trying to achieve a goal.

i dont think fandom people who only think about male characters and only create content for male characters are like horrible misogynists but i do think they often have some shit they need to unpack. like how can you , for example, play life is strange and the only thing you come away with from that is you want nathan and warren to fuck nasty. how can you watch birds of prey, and the only thing you come away with from that is you want roman and victor to fuck nasty......... like idk! idk! i just find it strange especially when people will engage with media Specifically about women and then put no effort in to empathize or care about them, sometimes even going far enough to say they HATE the female characters and that theyre bitches... IDK!!!!

(the axolotl is called wades! Bc of this change, at the end of the summer Mason doesn't get his memories back immediately- it takes a few months)

For both Warlords, how would you react if reader said “I love you” to you guys

At first, Wukong thought he heard wrong. He was probably wrong...

Wukong: W-what'd you say?

He was nervous, excited, and overjoyed at the very sound of what you said. He needed to know for certain, he NEEDED to hear it again.

Reader: *Blushes deeply*

Wukong grabs both of your shoulders gently and stared into your eyes. He was waiting, as patiently as he possibly could to KNOW what you said.

Macaque on the other hand, Macaque stood back, his eyes wide with shock, His tail wagging happily. Hid eyes quickly softened and he rushed up to you in a blur of black fur turning white quickly. His arms wrapped around your waist, mostly beside you as Wukong was still in front of you.

Macaque: I love you too darling~

Wukong: So she did say it!? You actually said you love us!!

Wukong is absolutely beaming as he wrapped his arms around you, too. He was nearly speechless. He had no clue what to say. He loved you, and you loved him and Macaque. Taking your face in his hands, he kisses you. You barely get a moment of air away from him before getting a kiss from Macaque as well.

Wukong and Macaque: We love you too darling~ and we'll NEVER let you go~
